Our family and "Fwaggles" were again blessed with much happiness and good fortune in 2011. The past 12 months have brought us many gifts, including two wonderful litters and a number of exciting titles and wins. We also had another fantastic trip to the American National, with wins including 3 Best of Winners on 3 different dogs, 2 Best of Opposite Sex wins (including one for Blush from the classes), a Best of Variety and the only group placement for a Manchester that weekend. We are thrilled to say that Gordy (Fwaggles Tragically Hip) ended the year as the #1 TMT (Breed) in the US and, here in Canada, 2011 finished with 4 Fwaggle TMTs in the Top 10 standings, including #2 for Vanna (MBIS, MRBIS Ch Fwaggles She's So Vain). We are once again incredibly pleased that our breed as a whole continues to do well in Canadian show rings and would like to extend sincere congratulations to all TMT owners who are working hard to keep our breed in the spotlight, including this year's #1 Canadian Toy Manchester, GCh Diventy's Galahad and his owner, Diane Vendittoli. Félicitations!
We consider ourselves very fortunate to have the friends, colleagues and owners we do and, as always, wish to thank them for their continued support. You and your dogs make it all worthwhile!
As always, we wish everyone a safe and happy New Year. Let's hope 2012 brings continued health and good luck to all! In the meantime, here's a recap of 2011:

After earning Best of Winners at the 2010 National, it was very special to see Gordy finish a few months later at the 2011 US National. He had a great weekend in New Jersey and kicked off a limited Specials career in May. At only 2 and with just 7 months as a special under his belt, Gordy has risen to #1 in Breed points and earned several nice group placements as well. He sired his first litter earlier this year and with only one weekend out, one of his puppies has already earned multiple major wins. |

Vanna had a very busy year, starting off with her 3rd Best in Show, earning several Reserve placements the weekend of the 2011 US National and wrapping things up with a trip to California in September where she recently whelped her second litter. We are looking forward to having her home early in 2012! |

Pixie made us very proud this year, continuing to show strongly in conformation, agility and rally -- proving that TMTs can do it all (especially when they have a dedicated owner like Cindy!). She is looking forward to more fun and maybe even motherhood and in 2012! |

This year, T-Rex earned the following titles:
T-Rex and Clara continue to shine, earning a variety of new titles this year. As always, we are simultaneously proud and confused by the litany of letters after his name (thank heavens Clara explains them)! T-Rex remains the third highest pointed Toy Manchester in NAFA (North American Flyball Assocation) history. |

Jackson had am exciting puppy career, making his Mom and us very proud! He is a wonderful ambassador for the breed, making lots of friends everywhere he goes. |
|
|
|
Fifi had a short show career in North America, appearing at only two shows in Canada and one in the United States before winging her way to her new home with Kirsti and Eirik in Norway. Even in such a short time, however, she proved that she is competitive in any field or country. Since arriving in Norway, Fifi has become fast friends with Kirsti & Eirik's daughter Tanja and has been awarded some very nice wins. |

Hillary continued to shine in California where she was owner-handled by Karen to a number of lovely group placements. We are so thrilled to see this team do so well, particularly as Hillary is Karen's very first show dog. Fingers crossed Karen and Hilly will hear the pitter-patter of little paws next year! |

What can we say about Gracie and Blush other than that they make us smile every time we see them -- there is not a more devoted pair around! Blush performed again this year with the Paws for Fun performance team and continues to be a wonderful ambassador for the breed. |

Kim & Bayley are a great pair to watch in action. This team also performs with the Paws for Fun performance team and are just about the fastest weavers we have seen in the TMT world! |

Kaiden and Darlene are much loved members of Fast 'N FURious and have continued to impress, earning their FDCH-Gold in April and Flyball Master title just a few months later in August! Not only is he a great flyball dog, he is an awesome friend and companion -- the most important thing of all. |

Jeff and Loki continue to defy even their own expectations! We're pretty sure even Jeff wouldn't have dreamed Loki could have achieved what he has had you asked him a few years ago -- it just goes to show that hard work really does pay off. |
