July 1, 2008 -- Happy Canada Day! Photos of both of our new litters can now be found on the Upcoming Litters page. We also added a new portrait of our beautiful old girl, Tango, at 14. June 28, 2008 -- Macy picked up a Group 1st under Phyllis Wolfish and a Reserve Best In Show under Donald Duncan today! Congrats to Clara Theiss and T-Rex on their Flyball Dog Champion (FDC) title. He is now the #3 most pointed TMT in NAFDA history! Brita is taking a few weekends off but will be back in the saddle again next week.
June 24, 2008 -- Garbo delivered five puppies (2 boys and 3 girls). Photos to follow... as soon as we find the charger for the camera!
June 20, 2008 -- We have... puppy. Visa delivered 1 lone male on June 20th via c-section.

She followed that up with a Group 1st today under Mr. Guy Jeavons. We had photos taken (thank you Walt Norris) and added our favourite one to her web page. Her sister Brita had a great weekend on the "left" coast as well, taking a Group 1st and two Group 2nds under Neil Graves, Judy Shurb and Margaret Jones, respectively.
May 27, 2008 -- Back from the US National and it was certainly an interesting weekend! Jake won his fifth US National, this time owner-handled from the Veterans class! He followed that win up with two more Best of Varieties and collected a Group 1, 2 and a 3 as well as Best in Veterans Sweepstakes. Miss Macy also had a good weekend, going Reserve Winners Bitch to a lovely girl from Florida (who we almost brought home!) two days and taking WB for a 5 point major on the last day.
Amanda had a great time showing dogs as well. The Standard MT she shows for Dean & Jennifer Tomes (Mersey's Dare to B Grand) was Winners Dog from the Junior Puppy class at the District 2 Specialty and took Best In Puppy Sweepstakes at the National! She was very happy to show Carolyn Horowitz's Veteran girl Percy to Best of Opposite in Veteran Sweepstakes at the National. Finally, she was thrilled to show Ruby (Ch Evermore's Ruby v Burmack) to Best of Opposite at the District 2 Specialty and an Award of Merit at the National. Ruby is a lovely Jake daughter. Congratulations go out to Pennyanne Styles who finished her male Mark's (Am/Can Ch. McLean's Mark of Style) US title with Best of Winners. May 18, 2008 -- After turning a year old this week, Macy attended her second weekend of CKC shows and picked up 7 points. Her wins included a Group 4th under Charles Cyopik and a Group 1st under Virginia Lyne! She now needs only 2 points to finish her championship. Big sister Brita was awarded a Group 1st on the West Coast today as well!
May 12, 2008 -- Indy finished his CFC championship in one weekend with four excellent ratings and a Group 1st! Macy went to only half of the shows, but managed to beat her dad for the breed at one!
May 6, 2008 -- New photo of Polo at 9 months. Also had a great surprise in the mail -- Brita finished as the #1 Toy Manchester and #4 Toy Dog overall in Canada for 2007 according to official CKC stats. We also heard that Solo (Ch Fwaggles One N Only Keepsake) ended 2007 as the #5 Toy Manchester. Congratulations to her owners Shari and Sydney Robinson -- especially Sydney as she earned a good number of those points herself!
April 28, 2008 -- New photos of Cassie and Macy enjoying the sun. Also added a new photo of Solo taken at the show in Quebec this weekend where she was awarded a Group 4th.
April 27, 2008 -- Put up a few photos/updates that have been waiting for a while. Check out new photos on the Puppies page as well as a new snap of our TV star, Gord. Congratulations to Clara Theiss and T-Rex who earned his Flyball Dog title in a single run last month! And a big welcome to our new addition, Cassie.
April 19, 2007 -- Time certainly flies! We finally got the site moved to its new location. The weather is a little better so we were able to get at least one new shot of Macy, who is almost all grown up now at 11 1/2 months. We have several girls coming into season at the moment and are finalizing breeding arrangements, so check back for details soon.
February 22, 2007 -- Good news today as we learned that Brita finished 2007 as the #1 Toy Manchester and #5 Toy Dog overall in Canada (Canine Review). Dad Indy was #3 TMT in the U.S. after only a few months showing. He also recently earned Best of Variety at the Progressive Toy Dog Club's show in New York on the Westminster weekend!
January 19, 2007 -- New photos of Polo and Macy. They're both at that gangly stage, but we're very pleased with them at this point. No babies arrived in December, though we would have sworn there were at least 4 looking at her! The Jake x Visa breeding will be repeated again in the spring. Congratulations go out to Kirsti and Eirik Kahrs -- Marilyn added a Swedish Championship and the demarcation Swedish Winner '08 to her long list with a Best of Opposite win at the International Show in Sweden. This win also gave her her International Championship (FCI). Marilyn is now a champion in 5 countries!

He grabbed a Group 4th to end his trip to the U.S. on a high note. In only a few months of showing he has earned multiple group placements and is among the Top 3 TMTs in the U.S. (All Systems). We look forward to spot showing him as we pursue his Grand Championship. Rumour has it he may appear in the agility arena soon as well -- he does like to keep busy!

Hannah grabs 6 points her first weekend out in Canada with a Group 2nd and a Group 3rd (thank you Skip Stanbridge and Avery Gaudin!). The weekend isn't over in B.C. yet, but already Brita has earned a Group 1st and a Group 2nd in big west coast groups!
May 14, 2007 -- Puppies arrived this morning, 5 girls and 1 boy. Mom and babies are doing well. Check out our Upcoming Litters page for more information and watch for photos.
May 8, 2007 -- New photos of Flip and Mya. Jessi made her show debut, earning a Group 4th and rave reviews from judge Cece Ringstrom. We are also pleased to say that final CKC stats are in for 2006. Indy finished the year as the #1 TMT and #3 Toy Dog in Canada. Flip was the #1 TFT in Canada, a first for the breed. Brita was #3 TMT and #1 Bitch in Canada with only a few months showing. We're also pleased to say that Marilyn was the 1st ETT in Norway and became the 1st of that breed to ever rank among the country's Top 20 Terriers. And, finally, Hannah was #2 TMT in the U.S. (All Systems) while Jake earned a Group 4th at Westminster and won his 5th National Specialty. It was certainly an amazing year and we wish to thank all of the breeders, co-owners, handlers and friends who made it possible. A complete round up for the year can be found here. 2006 was certainly a year we won't soon forget.
April 21, 2007 -- Congratulations to Sydney & Shari Robinson on their new champion! Solo grabbed some nice group placements this weekend, including two Group 2nds (both times behind the dog who went on to BIS). Brita has also been doing well as she spends the spring warming up, placing consistently in large groups.

October 10, 2006 -- We have just returned from Nebraska where we were thrilled to see Jake win his 4th US National Specialty! One day earlier, at the associated District VI Specialty, Indy was Best of Opposite Sex in Toys and BOSS overall (Toys & Standards), with one of his daughters (new Am Ch. Splash's Dancin' In The Moonlite) taking Best of Winners and the other (Am Ch. Burmack Fwaggle Secret Weapon) an Award of Merit. Indy went on to take Best Stud Dog at the US National.
September 30, 2006 -- Solo earned 2 points on her very first weekend out. She was owner/handled by 8-year-old Sydney who did a fantastic job with her. Way to go guys!

March 24, 2006 -- Puppies are here! Rumour presented us with 2 boys and a girl VERY early this morning. It took some coaxing to lure that first boy into the world. Sire is Am Ch. Saint Lazar's Lance. Then, this afternoon, Visa's babies out of MBIS Can/Am Ch. Burmack's Unrivaled Secret arrived (3 girls and 2 boys). Photos are now available on our Litters page and will be updated weekly.
March 16, 2006 -- Trying to get some updates done! Jake (MBIS/MBISS Am/BISS Can Ch. November 13, 2005 -- Last show of the year for us! Brita capped off her short season (5 days total) with two Group 2nds, 2 Best Puppy In Groups and 2 more Best Puppy In Shows under Mr. Guy Jeavons and Mr. Michael Shoreman. Now it's time for a loooong break...no more shows until February!
November 6, 2005 -- Hannah (Burmack Fwaggle's Secret Weapon) earned 8 points toward her US title on her first weekend out, including two majors. On the last day of the weekend she went Best of Breed over Specials!
October 31, 2005 - Brita finished her Canadian championship in style. She was awarded a Group 1st and Best Bred By Exhibitor In Show under Ms. Shirley Limoges and went on to another Group 1st and a Best Puppy In Show under Mr. Jim Reynolds.
October 21, 2005 -- Brita & Halo made the trip south for the 2005 AMTC National Specialty. Brita started the week off right with Best Toy in Sweepstakes and Reserve Winners Bitch at the District III Specialty. Halo earned a 5-pt major the following day at the Delaware Valley Manchester Terrier Club Specialty and won a competitive 9-12 Puppy class in the AMTC National Sweeps. Zandi Spicer's girl Jacee, sired by our Indy, earned an Award of Merit at the National -- way to go girls!

July 18, 2005 -- Indy congratulates his newest champion daughter -- Am Ch. Spiceisle A Song 'N A Prayer, bred and owned by Zandi Spicer. "Jacee" finished her U.S. championship in only four days of shows with four majors! Not to be outdone, her brother "Benny" (Spiceisle Crusader's Song) picked up several points his first weekend out in Washington as well!
July 10, 2005 -- Halo & Marilyn made their show debuts over the last few weekends. In two weekends, Halo picked up two Group 1sts, a Group 2nd, three Best Puppy In Groups and 2 Best Puppy In Shows - easily achieving her championship! Marilyn made her first appearance in the ring yesterday and snapped up a Group 3rd, a Group 4th, a Best Puppy In Group and a Best Puppy In Show!
June 20, 2005 -- Indy is on a roll - two weekends, two more Best In Shows, for a total of 8!
June 13, 2005 -- Posted new photos of the girls, Halo & Marilyn. We're also happy to announce an upcoming litter out of Visa (BPIS Ch. Fwaggles Charge It To Seaquest) and Higgins (Ch. Burmack's Professor Higgins). Higgins, bred and owned by Jim Burrows & Pat Mackesey (Burmack), made the trek North in February and finished his Canadian Championship with several nice group placements before heading home. Puppies are due in late July.

In Standard Manchesters, Gunny (BIS/BISS Can/BISS Am Ch. Mersey's Gunna B. Grand), bred and owned by Dean & Jennifer Tomes, was awarded Best of Breed -- handled by Amanda. Congrats to all involved!

December 6, 2004 -- We are happy to add the CMTC Breeder's Check-Up to our site. This great tool will help us track health issues in our own breeding program and the information will also be valuable when filling out the the next general health survey for the breed. We ask all owners of Fwaggle TMTs to complete this form now and then again according to the schedule outlined. We fully intend to email and mail these forms to all of our puppy buyers!
November 21, 2004 -- We are very pleased to announce that Indy is currently the #7 Toy Dog in Canada (results to end of July). He is also looking forward to becoming a Dad again, this time with Kailee (BISS Am Ch. Spiceisle's Sweet Song of Angels), winner of the 2004 American National Specialty. October 13, 2004 -- Bud, Tommy & Visa are now a year old - Happy Birthday guys! We are absolutely thrilled to welcome the newest addition to the Fwaggle gang - "Flip" (Am Ch. Valcopy's Flipside)! Flip is a Toy Fox Terrier bred by Dana Plonkey, Valcopy Toy Fox Terriers, a renowned TFT breeder. Flip finished his American championship at 9 months with 4 majors -- he is looking forward to the chance to shine in a Canadian ring so vote YES to breed recognition in this fall's CKC referendum!
September 28, 2004 -- Visa earned another Group 2, BPIG and Bud earned two Group 2's and two BPIG's. Jake earned an Award of Merit at the AMTC National Specialty in Olympia, Washington from judge Elaine Young and also picked up the two Best of Breeds at the accompanying All-Breed shows and two Group 2nd's. August 25, 2004 -- It was a hectic week, but the Canadian Manchester Terrier Club's first National Specialty is over and everyone had a great time! The Fwaggle gang had a blast and we are proud to have three new champions, each of whom earned some wonderful wins. Jake won the overall Specialty and went on to take Best of Breed at each of the following shows as well as some great wins and placements in a tough Toy Group. Gunny, also handled by Amanda, was Best of Breed in Standards at the Specialty and went on to Best of Breed and Group 1st at every show she was shown at over the following week. We have updated Visa, Bud, Marlow, Tommy, Garbo, Tango and Jake's pages with information on their individual wins and are thrilled at how consistently they performed. May 31, 2004 -- Congratulations to Pennyann Styles, co-owner of new Champion Fwaggles In Style at Seaquest! Tommy finished his championship with a bang, earning a Group 3rd and Best Puppy In Show in tough Ontario competition!

May 14, 2004 -- We're happy to announce the arrival of 4 bouncing baby Manchesters. Rumour gave birth to 2 boys and 2 girls on May 9th -- all are doing well. Proud poppa Tazo is handing out cigars!
May 2, 2004 -- This weekend was a fun one for Fwaggle! Garbo (Fwaggles Mata Hari) continues to do well, in 5 days of shows she now has two Group 2nd's and a Group 4th. Bud (Seaquest's This Bud's for Fwaggle) also had a great time at his second show, taking a Group 2nd among some lovely toys, while his brother Tommy (Fwaggles InStyle at Seaquest) won his Jr. Puppy class at both Bucks Co. and Trenton (congratulations to owner PennyAnn Styles!). Jennifer & Dean Tomes' SMT Gunny took a Group 1st today and showed like a pro in BIS, watch for new photos of her and Amanda!
April 24, 2004 -- Congratulations to Jim Burrows and Patrick Mackesey whose boy Jake (MBIS, MBISS Am. Ch. Fwaggles Tapman at Burmack) won his 5th U.S. Best In Show today under judge Mrs. Nancy Fingerhut! Jake is now tied for the most US BIS's by a male TMT!
April 21, 2004 -- We were thrilled to find out Indy (MBIS Can/Am Ch. Burmack Gaenja Crusader at Fwaggle) finished 2004 as the #2 Toy Manchester in Canada.
April 18, 2004 -- Haven't had a chance to take any photos recently, but the dogs were enjoying spring so much had to snap a few. Added a beautiful head shot of Tango at almost 10 years of age as well as some cute ones of Bud! PennyAnn Styles sent a lovely photo of herself and her baby boy Tommy (Fwaggles Instyle at Seaquest) -- they should have lots of fun together.

February 19, 2004 -- Teller has gone to a wonderful new home in Ontario, though we will certainly miss him here. Tazo made the trip north for a short stay. Watch for more information on his planned litter out of Rumour (Am/Can Ch. Burmack's Untold Secret) this spring. We are currently hosting an adorable SMT puppy, Reefer, who is looking for a companion or show home. Check the Mersey SMT page for more information.
February 10, 2004 -- Jake takes Best of Breed at Westminster for the third year in a row, making him the only TMT to have earned this honour 3 times! We were also thrilled with Garbo's performance as she made her debut at the Halifax Kennel Club shows February 7th with a Group 2nd! It was a good weekend for the Lhasa Apso Fwaggles Sweet Dreams of You, owned by Jim & Cheryl Perrin, who finished her championship with a Group 3rd. BISS Am/Can Ch. Mersey's Gunna B Grand, owned by Dean & Jennifer Tomes and handled by Amanda Kelly took a Group 1st in tough competition her first weekend out in 2004!
