2017 in Review
In 2017, we celebrated the 30th anniversary of our very first litter. We will be forever grateful for the support of our wonderful family, friends and the many friends this hobby have brought into our lives.
Happily, we had the pleasure of showing some wonderful young dogs this year, several of whom show promise for the future. We also had two litters thanks to the generous help of our friends Shari Robinson and Lynne Brushette, who graciously stepped in to whelp and raise puppies when we were unable to...a mark of true friendship if you stop and think about how much 6 week old TMT puppies poop every day. ;)
A highlight of the year for us was a fantastic trip to Montreal in November with wonderful friends and some great results as well. Amanda also had a great trip to Orlando, Florida for the American Manchester Terrier Club national specialty and the prestigious Royal Canin show. Altogether, dogs we bred, co-bred or own were awarded 3 of 5 Best of Winners awards for the week; 4 Reserve Winners awards; Best in Sweeps, Winners Bitch, Reserve Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at the National; and two Reserve wins for our 8 and 9 month old Boston and TMT puppies at the Royal Canin show. It was exhausting but a great reminder of the wonderful people we have the pleasure of working with--and that really was the story and theme of our entire year.
Looking ahead, we hope that 2018 brings everyone in TMTs the greatest success and happiness. Be sure to treasure the special moments you have with one another as the memories will last much longer than any ribbon or prize.
Hugs,
Wendy & Amanda
